freezing on KT133
Posted by tristan777 hello... i have had some problems with my video freezing lately... it seems to do this in games and in Windows so i'm not really sure what is wrong. i can continue to hear winamp or the game sound in the background but the video is frozen and the keyboard or mouse doesnt seem to be responding, if i try pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL or if i just try hitting caps lock the light doesnt even come on... any ideas? AMD Athlon tbird 800 on Asus A7V(KT133) w/ newest bios flash Viper V770 Ultra w/ Detonator 5.32 drivers(i have tried 6.xx drivers through 6.34 and they all make my comp hang when i scroll) SB Live! value Netgear 10/100 NIC Lucent 56k winmodem 128 megs PC-100 ram 13 gig HDD(7.2 gig win2k, the rest is 98) thats about it.... My cpu temp is around 130 degrees F, and my Mobo temp is usually around 105, with the case off. |
