I have an OEM version of the Aureal Vortex1
Soundcard. Reference NT4.0 drivers didnt work (downloaded from www.a3d.com).
W2000 installed the default drivers for the card, it was recognized and seemed
to be using the correct resources as compared with the drivers for win98se. No
sound can be heared at all, save for the CD Audio, but then computer is needed
for more than just CD Audio.

I've read this device is supposed to work under Win2K. It does if you dont mind having Forcefeed sensitivity at max and centering at max.

Works perfectly. Comes with latest Adaptec CD Creater and Direct CD which also works perfectly. So far all brands of media seem to work.
