Get lastest Bios and it will work great! Old Bios
have sound problems. Minor Issue: IRDA Port resources needs to be setup manually
after install of W2K.

Windows NT say that "No PCMCIA controller was found" when the bios setting is "Cardbus/16 Bit" but it still works that way and many newer cards will NOT work when using PCIC or AUTO mode

Both upgrade from Win98 or clean install cause
random lockups when machine is running. This occurs even after upgrading to the
latest BIOS available from Toshiba's support site (v. 7.20) and installing Win
2000 utilites, which are supposedly Win 2000 compatible. Tech support at Toshiba
said that BIOS on download site is a beta BIOS, and that Win2000 compatible
BIOS'es start with v. 8.00.

Get newest Bios and it will run perfit. The older
Bios can have trouble with PCMCIA cards work after standby.

Original BIOS gives STOP
during setup. Upgrade to Toshiba BIOS 7.N1 everything runs fine. Also
installed software from Toshiba web site.
