Works great, except Yamaha's drivers don't support the rear speaker output in Win2k. The default Win2k drivers work fine.

1) I have a problem since I have windows 2000 on my computer. I can't play the four speaker at the same time. My parameters are correctly configured like I did on windows 98 (it worked perfectly on win98). I think that these new drivers (dfot-2k-2225.exe) are unable to do it.

2) Windows 2000 has a WDM driver for the Yamaha YMF744 chipset, and there is really no need to use the driver from Guillemot. However the rear channels will not be functional, neither is the digital optical-out. It sounds wonderful however, and even better than Sound Blaster Live! in Windows 2000, which generates an unavoidable crackling and popping, for a much lower price. Even the box or the card does not support Windows NT4, the Yamaha reference driver will install and make it functional in NT4. It works exceptuating surround sound (do not throw your money away on a geeky 4+ speaker system, as I did) and some glitches with mic and line-in inputs. Improved support for Win2k has been promised on future drivers.

Guillemot Force Feedback Joystick (1)

Drivers will not install under Windows 2000. The device is seen as a Jet Leader ForceFeedback but will not accept driver updates. Trying the Jet Leader drivers also fails with 'No device matches specified drivers'. Guillemot support say 'yeah it doesn't work. No we dont have any drivers...'

windows 2000 can't detect this card properly during installation and makes win 2K refuse to save settings, but as an upgrade card with the drivers from CD, it works fine! using a P III 650 on a Soyo BA+ III with a SB512(detected),and 3Com NIC(detected)!Works fine once installed.

Nvidia reference drivers work better than
Hercules beta drivers none of the drivers provide TV out or any control
interface. The hercules drivers crash while trying to render the
"Wanda" nvidia demo, the Nvidia reference drivers work OK, I
have tried the 3.81 drivers from nvidia and Quake3 1.16n SMP works
without crashing. I have a Iwill DBD100 motherboard with dual P3 500

manual install. There's an .inf running around that install everything
automatically, if you can get it...
